A Mighty Orc Templar from Norsgard Miniatures
May 10, 2012 by brennon
We have seem a few preview pictures of the Orc Templar for the Order of the Ram in Norsgard before, but here is a little snapshot of just what the final model will look like atop his base...
I love the action and flow in this model. A great battling stance with his cloak rising up in the high winds. It also sports a mighty fine sculpted base adding to the story of the model. Some great detail and really reminds me of an Orc from World of Warcraft or indeed possibly Skyrim.
Will you join the Order of the Ram in Norsgard?
That is a lovely looking figure… great action pose.
Orc Templar? Thats rather suprising choice for orc. Still sculpt is looking very nice and he has detail all over him.
He’s come along well since the renders I first saw of him – great energy in the pose like he’s about to swing a mighty weapon, nice fur texturing on the cloak and sleek armour. Since the head is more human than brutish compared to the average Warhammer orc he might also make a good half-orc or magically twisted human (think Damodar from the first D&D film…then try to forget it ;)).
That is such a cool and creative idea. I wish to get this when I get my paycheck it’s that good.
I think this could be the best Orc I have seen outside of the LoTR figures and Red Box Halfbloods.
My kind of orc
Just needs a big Dane Axe to finish him off.
I’m not familiar with Norsgard, judging by this figure we will soon be aquainted.
Like what I have seen from Norsgard so far – this does indeed look like a must buy
That’s the first ever orc model that I like!
