A Mighty Dwarf Lord Emerges from Scibor Miniatures’ Hold
April 25, 2012 by brennon
We saw some Work-in-Progress on this model from Scibor Miniatures a while back, but here is the Dwarf Lord in all his glory with an amazing scenic base showing him in a commanding position on the battlefield.
Now there's no reason to mount him on the scenic base but it does look pretty fantastic. Like I said the first time I saw this model, I love the Valkyrie style helmet and the massive Gaul shield he is holding. He would be a worthy leader for any Dwarf hold and yet another good model from Scibor.
Will he be leading your beardlings into battle?

He looks like he is ready to lead his people to battle against goblins. Model itself is nicely detailed.
but… but… how did he get up there?
Must say I like the plinth. A few would make for great scenery
The dwarf is not too bad either!
Love the hammer he has. The base might be a bit to big for my tastes.
He’s asking to get sniped on that base but he’s a lovely looking figure. The detail on the hammer and the wings show what pressmoulding can do when used properly, and the face looks a bit like Bernard Hill (Theoden in LOTR) which adds real presence to the stance.
Oh look… Another press moulded kneeless dwarf on a plinth.
At least he is only kneeless. Most dwarves like to get legless, or if you prefer LoTR, Legolas *titter*
