Make Your Way Down Micro Art’s Cobbled Streets
June 25, 2013 by dracs
Micro Art Studios are continuing to expand their range of bases, with the latest ones bringing new stretches of cobbled streets to explore.
Cobbled bases might often depict the streets of a Victorian era city (only without all the piles of horse doings everywhere) and so make the perfect addition to steampunk miniatures, such as those from the Wolsung SSG range or Empire of the Dead. They certainly add to the atmosphere of the setting and, as always with scenic bases, make the miniatures more alive in appearance as it creates the sense that they are in some way interacting with the environment.
Do you think you will place your miniatures on firm cobbled streets?

Simple and effective ! More variety on the city theme is always welcome.
Very nice.
The fan pattern is quite common on Continental Europe so they would not be out of place for games set in later periods such as WW2/1946 alternate history.
Just never seen multi coloured cobbles though! 😉
