Micro Art Bring the Faces of Discworld to Life with New Busts
November 11, 2013 by dracs
I love Terry Pratchett's Discworld. I own the books, the RPG rule book, the board games, the original PS1 game, a tooth from the set of Hogfather and even a Thud set. Now Micro Art Studio have something else to feed my addiction: Busts!
These busts follow up on Micro Art's excellent range of Discworld miniatures, using the same designs inspired by the artwork of Paul Kidby.
The busts show off an even greater attention to detail, with every worry line on Rincewind's face and even Sam Vimes' unshaven stubble plain to see. These are definitely looking promising and I cannot wait to see which characters will be appearing next.
Are you a fan of the Discworld series?

Death and the librarian for me 🙂
I was so disappointed with their figure range as not only are they are super-heroic rather than heroic scale and therefore too large to be used with the usual ranges of fantasy figures but the sculpting was more akin to a 25mm scale quality than the 40mm they are. You don’t say how tall the busts are but the sculpting does look better; but then again it should be.
