Great character in the face and pose – between the facial expression and the one hand on his hip he looks more stern and disapproving than brutally menacing, as if he caught the rogue from his party dipping into the communal gold stash.
Also liking the plain belt buckle, it gives more choice of possible designs to the painter without being too big a featureless area.
Thats very nice althought rather cartoony sculpt.
