A Masterful Lead Adventure Crossbowman for Bruegelburg
March 14, 2012 by brennon
Some new Work-in-Progress shots have surfaced of a couple of new models for the Bruegelburg range from Lead Adventure. Check them out below and see what you think...
A right nice little pair of models these! Love the look and character and would be wonderful to see hem painted up when they are finished off. I particularly like the nod to William Tell going on with the Crossbowman.
Which of this duo do you like more?
I’m glad you guys got a sleeve up on this one. I know, I know that was a bad joke. I like the idea and all round look of them. The apple is like the cherry on the cake, just adds a bit more spice to that model. Love it.
Those are very promising.
There’s some exquisite sculpting here – lots of pouches, puffed sleeves, fabric textures, character and fine lines. Looks like the sculptor is showing off, it’s just so busy…but it was a truly skilled hand that made these.
I really like those two !
One thing that can be difficult is to get a sense of the pose in a miniature when there is such a lot of fabric sculpted on like that.
Am still getting the sense of the crossbowman’s weight on his left leg for example.
Gosh I would love to have these chaps.
