Maelstrom Shows off its June Additions to BaneLegions
April 12, 2012 by brennon
Some more concept art for the future of BaneLegions has arrived. Check out these new images of BaneLords and Beasts and ponder on whether or not you would pick these up when they get finished in June...
Certainly a reptilian feel to the month of June. With some of the Lizard models previously being rather chunky its nice to see one looking more lithe and insidious in Svrill. I can also already imagine what you're thinking about Ygerna but let me know below anyway...
Looking forwards to these June releases?

Ygerna suffers from the same problems as the other sword porn star we saw. there is no need for this model. the others look ace though.
I’m with you on the Pornsword the barbarian, super ugly. That snake priest is what I like the most. Hope they can keep close to the sketch.
Totally agree – no need for sword mistress. Would be interested how they sell though? Maybe I’m just getting too old for toys…
Could be something to do with the distribution by CMON in the States I suppose…check the tag cloud on the shop.
The blindfold idea was a good one-off hook but now it’s being spammed – that’s going to end up pretty much the same model as Alianne when the Banelords line isn’t about massed troop types. If I want a horde of swordmaidens I’ll go with the Raging Heroes ones. Still maybe the hair will be better this time…
I’ve no issue with the general concept of a naked warrior model, it isn’t as if historical examples of naked warriors are uncommon. Where I do have a problem though is when such a model is given a stereotypical porn star body. If the Ygerna concept art had an athletic or muscular build with breasts that actually fit the body type I would perhaps be interested in seeing how the final model turned out. On the other models, hopefully Svrill will keep that lithe dangerous look, previous snake bodied Bane models have had a similar style in their concept art… Read more »
