Mad Dayn Protects your Lucky Dice!
March 26, 2012 by brennon
We all have a lucky dice that we think will get us out of the tricky situations we place our models in, so obviously the logical step is to get a mad Dwarf named Dayn from Scibor Miniatures to protect it for you.
As you can see, the dice isn't included in this set. The first iterations of Dayn did include this, but in this version we have to supply our lucky dice. I have no problem with that, I have plenty of dice that could be placed on this lofty perch.
Would you get hold of Dayn?

No dice
Would be tempted to substitute the dice with a poor hapless gobbo
I wouldn’t mind a gobbo being the one holding the dice – they’re so creepsy and tricksy that they’re bound to help your rolls… 😉
Sculpt looks good too, particularly the face. He looks like he’s about to throw the dice at you. Scibor definitely do better with the bearded folk and fantasy sculpts in general – the style suits that genre better somehow.
I like the idea of this dice holder. I think they did this before with another pose. If they do one for all types of forces I could see them going fast.
Thats intresting. Model that holds dice.
He would make a good turn counter. Despite the one foot on the rock pose I like him.
