A Lupine BaneBeast from Maelstrom Games

It's been a while since we had some of the great concept work and models from BaneLegion but it seems they are breaking the drought with one massive beast. Check out the concept and miniature for Creoda below...
This mighty wolf was bought to life with Stefan Kopinski and sculpted by Allan Carrasco. I think both have done a superb job on this one. Creoda is available to pre-order now and has an official release date of March 3rd.
Will you be howling at the moon with Creoda?
Fantastic stuff as ever from the BaneBeasts line – The actual model seems less ‘ragged’ than the concept art and therefore less feral, but no less menacing plus the fur detail is wonderful. I’m hoping the official paint job has lots of gore around the mouth…
One small point – I’d put that on a chariot base if that’s a 50 X 50. You’re asking for it to tip over otherwise.
Looks excellent
possibly the best werebeasty I have seen up to now.
I don’t know what to say. It has much more wolf in it than man but the human element is clear from the forward limbs. The pose is very unique but not grabbing for attention. Also I like the clean and slight definition of the muscles. Over all this is a dashing model. I would be proud to have that on the table.
Hope to see a painted version up soon 🙂
That looks great. At that size though, I would not know what I could use it as. A Giant, giant wolfman?
The dangly bits are the scariest…
A really great model, but would have hoped it to be slightly smaller. For 28mm/30mm scale Creoda is huge, even if he’s a sort of transenced (even demigod) human. Might work really nicely for 54mm scale as a werewolf, spot on for victorian fantasy like SMOG.
