Legacy Miniatures Announces Mid-Nor Cyclops
October 5, 2011 by beerogre
Plucked from the obscurity of the Confrontation archives, the mighty Mid-Nor Cyclops is a gigantic abyssal terror, rendered in fine resin to decorate your wargaming table, RPG dungeon... or let's face it... your display cabinet.
Check out the 360 video above and tell us what you think of the music... we're considering using it for all our videos!
Note to self: Do not put too much rum in coffee when going to design meetings!

Lovely figure, possibly gonna be expensive for my tastes (new import fees are a killer)
Music…WTF!!! A bit of classical is nice but I feel the rum needs to no longer be allowed at meetings
Cool model
Think it might be Telemann, as in Telemann to choose something more appropriate?.
I thought something from Peer Gynt might work but you heathens won’t appreciate Grieg and the CBSO so I found this instead lol

I love Baroque… I really do. But is it entirely fitting, here ? I think not…
Perhaps with a different mini…

Definitely best kept for drug fueled orgies.
Sex and drugs and baroque and roll.
I have decided… we will use this type of music for all our footage of Darrell trying to put together papercraft terrain… we’ll speed the footage up too!
Now that’s fitting! 😀
In which case Hayden’s Surprise Symphony would be could
Just as Darrell is concentrating on something really delicate and fiddly (pun intended)….
(If you are familiar with the piece you know what I mean! lol)
*good rather than could!
DOH!
I was thinking some Couperin for the opening credits of all videos… Or maybe some of Rameau’s deceptively simple wind chords from Les Indes Galantes or Platée for Spotlight vids…
Sounds good. If it ain’t Baroque don’t fix it!
Tail looks … odd – I’d leave it off if t’were mine 🙂
Sure, do what you want with your tail…
You can always have it off.

I think you need more rum, not less, in your coffee.
80 Dollars! I’ll admire from on far.
You know ? So will I ! I know it’s a good sculpt and a collector’s piece, but from what I see, from the size, from the fact that it’s resin and therefor cheaper than metal, from the price of Studio McVey’s minis, and from what it would have been sold at by Rackham, it’s only worth half of that price. Maybe 50 dollars, tops. I expected so much from these people. I did the interview, for Pete’s sake ! Even though I know they probably have a lot of expenses repairing and cutting up the Rackham masters to make… Read more »
Thats why I seek the real stuff not them as it’s even cheaper still in most cases. Hope they rethink the price as it stands I can’t see many of them selling. Also if you can still find stuff on Ebay and some stores it means that they really don’t have the market on the model and should be wise on price because we will go for the cheaper of the two.
