The Kings of War Kickstarter Has Finished!
June 24, 2012 by brennon
Yes that's right, the Kickstarter for Kings of War from Mantic Games ends today. Check out all the things you can scoop if you pledge $100...
That's quite a long list of bonuses. We've seen Angels, Ogres, Trolls, Werewolves and even Mummies and Gargoyles on the horizon from Mantic. Obviously the major reason to head over there is to pick up some Dwarf Berserker Brockriders!
What are you most looking forwards to from this Kickstarter?

I’m most looking forward to the celestials! Can’t wait to get a bucket full of those men at arms, paladins and angels!
5 hours to go

now pledge quickly at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1744629938/kings-of-war
It have now gone past 3333333$
Goblin Mincer is in as what might just be the last freebie
There is a chance of Celestian Cat Cavalery, if an other 10K is pledged over the next hour
And it is done – got the cats – and Mantic did get 354807$ from this
You know, just for that OCD need for nice round figures, I wouldn’t begrudge Mantic for putting that last $7 towards some celebratory pints. 😉
The rest goes on the cool new stuff though! 🙂
Over fiveteen hundred gamers are able to put their hands in their pants and rub the dust off their credit cards and prepared to wait up to a year for something to come. Well done all, and well done Ronnie, who only asked for 5k and ended up with more than 70 times that much.
The future of Kings of War is bright, (esp. all the new shiny bits I am getting)
2000points of undead and a few extra Mummys
Congratulations to Mantic for a wildly successful crowd funding effort. I hope they live up to the challenge and make their sculpts as good as the concept art.
Wonder if BoW will do a KoW week soon 🙂
Being a beer and pretzels game they could probably do something nicely with 4 people on the team each getting a starter set, painting it up/assembling it, and then running a mini tournament to get people into the game, and see how it works along with a variety of models ‘n’ stuff.
