Take On The King Of Goblins With Dark-Art Studios

If, like me, you've been watch The Hobbit almost religiously every day then you'll probably have a hankering for the death of goblins. Well how about escalating that and taking on Dark-Art Studios' Goblin Chieftain?
Those of you who have watched the recent film from Middle-Earth will most likely recognise this particular king under the mountain. The model stands at 55mm from curled toe to crowned head but obviously works with other 28mm and 32mm ranges.
He would certainly work well as a dungeon boss at the end of a role-playing quest.
Despite the resemblance to the original artwork and design what do you think of it as a model?

Forthcoming sequel.

First of all, imho, the model is okay at best. The paint job doesn’t really help.
Looks more like the Globin Chieftain.
GW have had their IP rightz infringed by the blatant copying of gratuitous and unnecessary overuse of Skullz tm for which the heavens should punish Dark Arts with all the weight they can bring to bear and crush the little guy into the dust.
New Line will also not be very happy that their excellent production design has been fudged.
Incoming! ^^
Wow, I understand many model companies offer variations on Dwarfs, Elves, Armoured Space guys etc. But this is model is not only a blatant copy of GWs model, but a pretty poor one at that. I’m all for choice in our hobby, but add a twist and a bit of originality.
