Good job guys
Great vid guys. Am not really much of a WM fan but really enjoyed watching the series and getting a feel for how the game as a whole plays. I particular appreciated as a noob Kev stopping and speaking to camera to explain the more subtle nuances of what was happening at key points. It’s great to get an insight into the different strands within a wider strategy, and the puzzle analogy you used seemed very appropriate. This is a hard thing to do in the middle of a game I’m sure – especially with the added pressure of the… Read more »
@cornishdaimyo then one of the reasons behind the filming was a success then 😀
Happy you enjoyed it and what we tried to explain as we were playing
A very fine game. Chess clocks are my bane and as a noob I always seem to time out.
….FOR THE MOTHERLAND!!!!!….Nice Game!!!
Well I’ve now watched it back and all I can say is after my feat turn how little time I left I’m still happy with my game, just time was getting very tight on me. at least you admit them afterwards kev some of us aren’t so gracious!
Warmahordes is complicated enough that somebody always forgets something. I’m surprised that Mike didn’t catch that. You still handled the game well enough to win without it I’d say. You were scoring points off the flag almost every scoring round, and the middle was contested even without the juggernaut. Those early strikes to thin out Mike’s infantry really paid off for you in the long game, limiting his ability to score and contest the objective. The way you overlapped your two infantry units so you were always striking the enemy in waves (rather than splitting the board with the two… Read more »
Really, really good video fellas. Still very much a WM noob, so the bits where you’re explaining what’s going on are really helpful. I’ll be watching this whole series again.
Really enjoyed this batrep.
As others mentioned, I really enjoyed the little explanations the guys gave out.
Going to go back and rewatch the previous content.
Looking forward to the Hordes shows.
