Kaha Miniatures Work on an Anime Style Barbarian
July 2, 2012 by brennon
Kaha Miniatures are hard at work on a new barbarian miniatures but one with a little more anime style to it perhaps. Check him out below...
I hope you can see what I mean about the anime style, especially in the facial features. I love how detailed this guy's looking even at this stage with the myriad skulls and furs as well as that deadly maul.
Here are some of their other miniatures...
Some particularly characterful and interesting models from this company and it will be interesting to see what else they come up with as times goes by. Check out the rest of their blog for more miniatures and work in progress pieces...
What do you think of their line?
Wow, those are truly great sculpts.
I loved to get them just for painting.
I like these – finely sculpted and richly packed with various little details like bones, leaves and hide straps. Especially interesting to me is the contrast between the bestial and fierce looking Wuruhi and Taika (both looking like they can naturally wield big weapons) and the more animated series-style humans (looking like they need to be less gritty and realistic to plausibly wield their exaggerated weapons and survive against the beasts). Impressive stuff here.
WOW!!! I think…. No I take it back I don’t think, it’s pure impulse, no thinking needed in getting all of these. The beast bear men are what took my heart. I was so taken by then I was not prepared to see them at all. It was like opening a gift and finding something you thought you never could get you end up getting.
Thanks guys over at Kaha you made my day 🙂
Some great stuff there. The humans look a bit anime inspired. That or they are super humans with the those huge weapons!
