Kabuki Models Paint Up Their Take On Alice In Wonderland
February 1, 2013 by brennon
Alice in Wonderland by Kabuki Models has sparked some interesting debate here it seems, but this painted version of their model was so good I thought it worth sharing...
Of course Alice is looking pretty amazing but the work on the base is what truly impressed me. The water effects and the way its falling into that pool looks great and when combined with the strange undergrowth it certainly creates a very eldritch and fairly tale scene.
At the point of writing this there was one of these miniatures left in stock. So if you want to grab on you'll have to be quick!
What do you think of Alice?
Like the base, but the figure is too base for liking! 😛
Alice is freaking awesome i wish i could paint one
So glad I got one 😀
Sculpt is very good looking, model is very well painted and that base looks amazing.
The model itself is nicely made, but as Alice in Wonderland? I rather keep my childhood stores pure not perverted by my adult mind. You all know what I mean. Kabuki has a reputation for this type of model, so I don’t fret anymore when I see what comes out.
That base, if it can be called a base is blow away one of the best I’ve seen! I really wish I could capture the water effects like they did.
What is she sitting on???

And mushroom. Now you can connect the dots on that one right? 😉
