Join Tor Gaming’s Class on the Basics of Relics

Do you want to get into Relics, but like me just don't have the patience for rule books? (Why read the rules when there is all that awesome fluff!) Well Tor Gaming have come to the rescue with a how to play video.
The video takes the form of a display battle between the Britanan and the Nuem, providing you with all the basics you need to pick up two forces yourself and start playing.
Tor Gaming have also put up a selection of new concept artwork on their Indiegogo project page.
Lastly, my personal favourite.
Be sure to check this new Nuem concept art.
This is a truly brilliant bit of artwork which really captures the frantic menace of the Nuem. This artwork will be one of the limited edition post cards for all those who donate to their project.
So if you are looking to get into Relics this is your best chance to do so. Also, be sure to head on over to the Indiegogo page and pledge your support.

I still like the Brits the most. The highlander will be my fav 🙂
You have to wonder would it really go Klaplonk when you hit a doll 😉
Good video, made me want to check out the game … if only there where time of all the new shiny games … but this one is now firmly on the list
Good to hear, although I will say that there will never be a time like the IndieGoGo project to get into the game. The savings you would make even without us hitting any more tatgets are amazing. Lets take an example, say you opted for a perk that gives to a starter set and you opt for the britanans, then you chose the britanan choices in the alreayd achieved targets. For the cost of, £27.50 (the dollar conversion may not be spot on but then you are getting free shipping so….) you get: The starter: £27.50 Brit CSM: £4.80 Marksmen:… Read more »
Looks like the game is easy to get the hang of…should be good fun. I have to wonder at the Dedicatus’ “travel channel” though, must be on one of the more obscure cable networks. 😉
The concept art is looking sharp too. I particularly like the Cwalu’s grim reaper vibe with that vicious scythe and emaciated frame, as well as the Highlander’s jaunty sword-over-shoulder pose.
Ha, the ‘Travel Channel’ was just me not remembering how to say ‘Charge direction’. Units must move directly towards the target when charging so in that case they would have been blocked. ‘Travel Channel’ was all that came to my mind!!! I’m crap at doing demos. Also, this is just a taster, I didn’t cover stuff like magic or command or lingering effects which add more depth to the rules. The rules are the sort that are definitely easy to get the hang of but there is lots to explore etc. I mentioned in the film about the Paenitentiam reducing… Read more »
my question is. is this the normal game size or how much minis do i need
The Britanan force in the video is 132, the Neum 94. (If the Grenadiers weren’t at the back, the Nuem would have suffered a lot more!) When we play the game we play on a 4 by 4 table and normally use forces of 300 to 400 points. However we tend to run a couple of Commanders in those games and that can account for 70 to 100 points alone. We have also played 500+ point games but tend to widen the table so things are cramped The game scales really well so if you want to play large games,… Read more »
