Hurry to Studio McVey for the Lovely Limited Himiko
November 8, 2013 by dracs
Studio McVey's Limited Edition sculpts are nearly always a highlight of the various releases we cover here and the latest one of the beautiful Himiko is no exception.
This model is a truly beautiful sculpt with brilliant motion conveyed in the decorative swirls of cloth surrounding it. The style of the model itself is highly ornate making it a great opportunity for painters to show off their talents and the swirls and folds in the clothing make it a great figure to practice shading with.
If you like this model be sure to head over to Studio McVey to pick it up. However you will have to be fast as it is strictly limited to 750 castings.
What are you still reading this for? Get going!

This has me thinking about ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’, ‘Hero’ and ‘The House of Flying Daggers’.

But… but… shiny !!! 🙁
I was thinking only a couple of days ago that McVey had gone a bit quiet
I prefer Akarui but still very good as usual from the studio
I was worried that the events of SW BFA may have had a knock on effect.
I’m really happy to see a new mini get a release and I have to admit, it’s probably my fave so far.
Really nice miniature, I may have to pick this up.
Looks nice, but it’s really more of a display piece… and it deserves a display quality paintjob.
Why would we of more mundane skill buy such a thing?
