A Howling Beast Is Created For The World of Alkemy

If you're looking for a new monster to expand your Alkemy collection by Studio38 then how about this mighty beast. Check out Guerrier Manitou below...
Now that's one awesome ogre/giant/troll! The name itself, I'm not too sure on but from a quick search on Google it had some interesting links with Doctor Who and American Indians. Hopefully someone can sort me out on this one!
What do you think of the model though? I quite like it, with an over the top cartoon style and a fun bit of character.
Let me know your thoughts below.
Awesooooome ! I love this game. The aurlock nation has some amerindians inspiration, indeed, but doctor who ? It’s a medieval/fantasy game… I’m no Dr Who specialist anyway ^^
Although it has nothing to do with trolls or ogre in the fluff (it’s more like a bovid…), the “possessed” is already 40mm high : the Manitou is a huge beast !
Fairly generic big beastie – well executed.
Name roughly translate to warrior spirit of posiden I believe.
Warrior Manatee and Posse
The beautiful placid creatures of the Everglades have been hacked and chopped up by outboard motors. A toxic spillage has seeped into the water and found its way into the marine mammals through their lacerations.
A metamorphosis has occurred, and now, it is time for REVENGE!
No more Mr Nice Manatee!
or something like that
There’s a book and a crap film in that. I bagsy IP
Something about the arm seems a little off. It looks a bit stiff with that big hand just doing nothing. The smaller version looks great.
As for the Dr. Who part. It most likely took the name from Native American source as much as this game took the name. It has nothing to do with the Doc.

This is why I mentioned the Doctor Who thing 😉 I know it’s a fantasy monster but google-fu can only give you so many tangential learning opportunities lol
BoW Ben
Fantasy monsters writing books for TV sci-fi series
How would that work in a game of DnD? lol
