A Hordes Carnivean Comes This Way…

If you're a Legion of Everblight player then you may enjoy this rather oversized and indeed rather toothy Carnivean for your games of Hordes from Privateer Press...
Standing on a 50mm base and made of resin and white metal this is rather impressive. I'm certainly a fan of those spine/talons growing out of the back of its torn flesh giving it extra height and added menace. That's not to mention the massive claws!
Will your Legions be adding this to their ranks?
That thing has to be taller than 50mm. The base he’s on is 50mm and it is dwarfed by him; he makes it look like he’s a heavy beast on a 40mm base. This thing is almost the size of a battle engine.
That sculpt looks amazing. Much better than one in Battlegroup box. There is so much detail and that fierce pose suits this model perfectly.
I think PP have redefined ‘gribbly’ with this – it’s incredibly visceral and wonderfully detailed. With all the ripped flesh, extra limbs and exposed muscle it looks as if it’s trying to burst out of itself…really gruesome. Even the teeth look more irregular than a normal Carnivean’s and the runes inscribed on it give a real sense of being forced into this form by blighted magics. Only thing I would change is the base – it’s clearly way too small to keep that thing balanced, but I love the model.
He has some bubblegum stuck between its wing-spikes … but I’m not going to be the one to tell him …
All the other factions had an extreme version of a warbeast. It’s nice to see that us Legion players held off for so long end up with the coolest! This is a home run for PP.
He will do nicely, time to come home “Tiny”………………………
