They’re Taking the Hobbits to Knight Models!

The next Hobbit film is fast approaching, but you don't have to wait till then to get adventuring in Middle Earth. Why not start by picking up the new Gandalf and Bilbo minis available from Knight Models.
The Bilbo model is good, but it is Knight Models' Gandalf the Grey that I really geek out about. I think it is possibly the best sculpt of Gandalf on the market at present.
Given that both of these are 35mm scale they could easily be used as alternative miniatures for your games of the Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit. If not than they make a nice collector's piece for any fan of Tolkien.
Are either of these models precious to you?

Even if don’t play the game then may get some of the models depending on price
Not sure I can justify the cost of the large figures, not that I think they aren’t worth it because the quality looks superb.
But for me these might be affordable surrogates
I fear Gandalf would tower over my Empire army. A shame as he’s one of the best wizard minis I remember ever seeing.
So why haven’t GW’s goons kneecapped Knight Models for encroaching on their territory? Is Knight Models one of those satellite companies like Forgeworld?
Probably because it is a New Line franchise that has been negotiated
The different scale will be enough to save any encroachment on GW’s turf
That and the fact that the Knight models are so much more superior as to be a whole new species of mini from GWs lol
is it me or have GW’s recent Hobbit models moved to Heroic Scale rather than the true scale, as these Knights Models, and GW’s old LOTR models were?
