A Hawkish Hero from Hasslefree Miniatures

Hasslefree Miniatures have had a bit of grumbling in the past for their scantily clad warrior women in impractical armour. So let's see what people think of Veda Ann...
She's wearing scale mail which usually doesn't get used on fantasy miniatures which is a major plus. I'm liking the way the sculpt is posed too with the shield raised to stop incoming arrow fire as she fights onwards. A perfect pose for a diorama perhaps?
And here are some more shots showing off the helmet and shield on the model. Some great work has gone into those feathered wings and the shield design looks crisp and clean. I think this could be a very successful miniature for Hasslefree.
What do you think of Veda Ann, and what game would you use her in?
Now look at that, no combat bikini in sight. And she looks hot with cloths on! See this is what women should look like in model form, no Dally Parton rack or underwear only exhibits. She still has a nice shape and shows some good womanly curves. Two thumbs up from me!
I personally have no problem with hasslefree’s scantily clad women. I doubt I’d buy them, but the sculpts are always good quality.
But I do love this model! Might have to pick one up and paint as a gift for a friend.
Needs more cleavage. What kind of pervert wants to look at armor anyway?!
I’m a huge Hasslefree fan, and this figure just blows me away.
Not just the interesting choice of armour and the fact she is fully clothed, though HF do have previous of this with their Tiriel model, but the pose is brilliant too.
Hopefully the HF range of more…”practical” armoured women, in awesome fighting poses will continue to grow, with the Dynamic Tiriel mini and now this it could be the tip of a brilliant iceberg for fantasy gamers.
Much better than the banelegions female
Outstanding figure! I just put together a fantasy barbarian horde, and this looks like the perfect figure to plonk into the command group. Also, my spouse wants it for her D&D character. Well done.
Not too keen on the super hreo type helm, but that is purely down to personal taste.
I love the scale armour
If I need a female Barbarian I think so far she would be a strong contender.
Nice to see a woman warrior who looks like they could actually survive a fight.
At first it looks like a pretty simple figure, but there’s a lot of really great detail in this mini when you examine it. I’m betting this would be a lot of fun to paint.
Something in her design screams Runelord (or in this case Runelady) from RuneQuest RPG to me.
