Grey Matter Fairy Miniature
August 20, 2011 by beerogre
Grey Matter Figures have released this Black Sabbath inspired "Fairy with Big Boots", sculpted by Kev White of Hasslefree Miniatures fame.
It's a nice looking model, which proports to be 1:1 scale... but I can't help but think this is a bit of a novelty... one for the painters and collectors I think.
Ideal for Fairy Meat! 😀
The real question is… if it’s 1:1, what are they basing the scale on?
Got to love a fairy stamping on Love Hearts – Kev White is a genius 🙂
Whatever she’s stomping on says (said) disco. I approve.
If its to scale to the candy love hearts then yes its to scale for 1:1.
It’s 1:1 based on the love heart sweet (or candy for you ‘merican’s), any idea what it says to make her so mad?
She wanted a Sherbert Fountain instead of Love Hearts
nice little mini just a petty about the wings
Why? I think the wings are awesome. You can undercoat them like the rest of the mini or paint them separately with some thin washes to keep them transparent. In fact, if they sold them on their own I’d buy some to put on some orcs and use them for Fairy Meat … 😀
I’ve just had to listen to some Black Sabbath 😀
