Freebooter’s IndieGoGo Stretch Goal Models Come To Life

Freebooter Miniatures have another pair of superb looking miniatures on the way, bought to life via their IndieGoGo Campaign and it's stretch goals. Check out Ixchelcoatl and Calamite below...
These sets have certainly looked at the weird and wonderful edge of Freebooter's Fate! The first miniature, Ixchelcoatl, has a feathery set of wings, a snake wound around her arm and a death mask of sorts on her face giving her an eerie feeling.
Calamite also has an eerie aura to her but she also has a brilliant undead monkey and a voodoo doll named Tufo! All she needs now is a skull named Murray and she'll be a complete Monkey Island experience!

Awesome! I believe Calamite is from the upcoming voodoo-themed faction. Arrrr,there be undead coming out of them Freebooter waters!
Calamite is actually a special case. She can be fielded in a Pirates and in a Cult crew. She is also exclusive to the Indiegogo backers.
I’ve seen another sculpt of her on the Indiegogo page; is just the above versio n exclusive, or the mini/profile as a whole? Seems a pity that such a cool character wouldn’t be widely available …

There are actually two versions of all the Chracters. You could pledge simply for one character and got a “vanilla” version without additional bits. Then there was a set of six Characters (the Vanilla versions). A Perk a bit higher netted you the set with additional bits, so you will be able to make your minis more legendary. This also included Calamite, with her hooded head, undead monkey and Voodoo doll companion so you would be able to build a vanilla or a legendary version. NOOO not another faction. Still not finished the Pirates and Brotherhood starter sets and expanded their warbands yet.
Then I HAVE to have Amozons too.
A voodoo cult from Freebooters will be just too cool!
