Flick That Tail With Bushido’s Creepy Nezumi Kun
November 2, 2013 by brennon
Bushido have another creepy addition to their Bushido line and this time it's for the Cult of Yurei. See what you think of the rather odd looking Nezumi Kun using his tail to full effect.
"Little is known about the origins of Nezumi Kun, even the scholars of the Blue library could only guess at the occult rituals and black magic used to create this “Son of Nezumi”. The savage Yokai appears more wild and feral than its “father”, striking from nowhere, only a rank stench left to mark its passage before it scuttles away into the darkness. Waiting and lurking in the shadows waiting for instruction from a faceless unseen evil."
Sounds very cool and evil all at once doesn't it? It's a very odd sculpt and not one that I was immediately drawn too as I think the artwork looks like a better pose, having it all more on an angle. However I do like that he is using his tail and I can see the movement going on which is good.
Worth adding to your collection?

VERY weird sculpt. The obvious absence of genitalia or even a tuft of hair to “hide things” is very unsettling, since the odd pose prominently displays it.
I’m not attracted to that sculpt.
I have to agree with you guys. This is the one of the rare Bushido sculpts that I’m not impressed by.
I like how they used the tail to make him leap in the air. That is pretty clever. But the pose is just not dynamic. It could be the angle…but as I see it currently it is rather static.
Swing and a miss. Not only is it not a great sculpt, it looks like it was originally sculpted to be standing at ground level then the tail was added.
Yeah it looks like the legs are static. One either needs to droop down or tighten in towards the chest to add some jumping motion to an otherwise static pose. I agree that it looks like the tail was an after thought. But it makes me think, the last Bushido model featured on BoW was that female Samuri with the slightly awkard pose, but the sculpt was incredible. The comments to that had “it is good but it will never be as good as the art work”. It looks like GTC sudios realised that and tried a quick fix for… Read more »
