Feel at Home in Tabletop World’s Cottage
July 20, 2012 by brennon
If you don't want grand buildings on the tabletop and are looking for a more down to earth feeling then how about this Cottage from Tabletop World? It's quite a masterpiece in resin!
Cottages would be great for showing a farming village in medieval Europe, or indeed a small hamlet in a Fantasy setting. I love the huge amount of work that has gone into giving even the sacks of potatoes at the door some character and detail. And that roof is amazing!
So is this another piece of superb terrain for your board from Tabletop World? I know I would love to be playing my games of Fantasy around it.
What do you think?
Now this is supurb, you can never have too many houses and I feel my bank card being drawn to me right now
As usual with Tabletop World an excellent building that I would dearly love, but am not going to be able to own.
So full of character.
Why not. Its no more expensive than a gw building. Only it’s both skull and stigma free
atm cannot justify 20 odd quid on terrain 🙁
i must admit i didn’t look at the price and it is not as much as i thought it would be
thanks for bringing that to attention rosspot
hopefully one day i can save up some pennies. i love this range and would be great to have some.
So much stuff, so little time (read cash) ….
Very nice indeed but like last time you showed one of their models I want to know when they will make the village pub
If the action is going to kick off anywhere it will be down the at the tavern.
Quite. Only just started getting into DnD but it is already clear that the game cannot happen if it does not commence in the tavern.
or else at least you are shipwrecked and need to go to the tavern.
Funny how the aspiring adventurer is never directed to the WI Local Farmers’ market or Auntie Beattie’s Olde Worlde Tea Shop.
Yes there is a group at our local Games club that role play just behind where I usually am playing my wargame. So I can hear most of what they are saying and they always seem to end up in some dubious ale house.
If it isn’t the tavern the game starts something like, “You wake up in a cell without any memories.”
Well of course you can’t remember anything. The night before last night you quaffed 15 flagons of Grudgley’s Dwarven X9 barley wine with chasers (doubles) of Green Fairy 100% proof absinthe.
and where did this lethal cocktail get supped?
Why, DOWN THE TAVERN of course. lol
I can remember when my friday nights started like that
we all know that beer, money and serving wenches are what good ol sword and sorcery is all about and all three are found in taverns
And very rarely in the players real life 😛
Now thats what you call terrain! It’s like a work of art.
