Fat Dragon Games Believe a Dwarf can Fly!
February 5, 2014 by dracs
Fat Dragon Games have announced the next printable miniature kit they are bringing out; an awesome airship for your dwarfs to take to the skies.
The idea of steam powered wings being used to let a boat take flight is pretty cool, but I have to say that I think this design could use a little bit more than that. At present it looks like it will hang in the air in precisely the same way as a brick does.
Still, it is a pretty cool concept and its inclusion in a fantasy game should open up new strategic options and challenges, as well as just being a fun addition to a dwarf player's arsenal.
Will you take flight with Fat Dragon?

Dwarves can fly if you use enough force to toss them.
But NEVER tell the elf… 😉
I quite like the structure of the air boat, but I agree with the wing situation, that is, they need to have a much bigger influence on the model – bigger, and more sailing structure to keep the craft aloft. The engines also look a bit odd and a bit small in my opinion.
I’m following The ravenfell KS from fat dragon games and it’s looking awesome.

That ship could do with a balloon-like structure on it. 🙂
Well Fat Dragon Games has done it again. Another paper card creation, which I feel great about. This could also be used for a Mars 1890 game. I am a fond person of card paper models, having created a few myself for the budget of my wargaming hobby I value any company producing these kits with high standards. Fat Dragon games having made $32,000 when only asking for $1,000 on there kickstarter it shows that there is still a market for this medium in the wargaming societys. The textures which are created and come from Fat Dragon Games are amazing… Read more »
