There is nothing like a good elf bashing. Those pointy eared sneaky treehuggers.*g*
I’m sorry but my first army was dwarves, and in roleplay games I allways tend to take the short meaty guys…
How does buying the miniatures work versus what they represent in the game?
Do you just buy a box of four and then assign them whatever roles you like?
Exactly that, I tend to paint names, numbers or rank on the bottom of the base so me and my opponent know which is which.
This campaign i used my elves as snipers with the powder monkeys, so it was shot for one action then move and reload as the next action. Apart from the occasional lucky shot was not that effective unless the model I was shooting at was injured. I was looking at starting an elf crew, but with only 4 elves available to purchase, i was slightly put off. Anyone know when the leader and second pack of elves will be available on the black scorpion site?
As of right now they seem to be available on the site
yes indeed, just saw black scorpions post on facebook saying they are now for sale on the site now!
These “scowl’ly” looking elves crack me up. I love the models, but man…..do they ever look sower… Maybe Andy was on to something…..perhaps all they need is a big hug from the dwarfs!
Im more of a dwarf fan, but i do appreciate well thought out elves. I like their aesthetic and design when its good enough.
My friend who is a die hard Ork player is..*shock*.. going to run an Elf pirate crew! His reasoning is the figures look fantastic and suitably Errol Flynn for a pirate campaign. I do like the rules for the Elves, they have some cool abilities – they are lightning fast and agile… and considering the rules bonuses for attacking from the side and backstabbing in combat … these guys are born assassins!
DWARVES!!!!!!!!!!!!
