More Dwarves Pour Forth From Scibor’s Mountain Home
March 18, 2013 by brennon
Scibor might be stepping into the world of Historical miniatures but they are also continuing their mighty Dwarven line. Check out their new Golden Guards below ready to defend the hold!
Some great looking warriors with plenty of detail on some stunning scenic bases. I am a little biased of course thanks to my love of beards and battle axes but I think you would agree.
These would be great as potential Iron Breakers thanks to the mass of armour they are wearing. However if you were willing to look past some of them holding shields they could also make superb Hammerers. That would be a lot better than the Games Workshop ones for sure.
Hopefully there are more Dwarves on the horizon!

At current exchange rates they are £33. Little steep for me but they are very nice.
Do like lots.
The range of weapons is all over the place. I see a two handed hammer, axes, a spear and a mace. Could be good for a war party for RPGs.
£33 is a pound cheaper than 10 Iron breakers from GW if i was buying I think I prefer these and save a quid.
The brazen faced cheek of GW never fails to astonish
I did figure that it was less than £3 per resin figure of good quality for the Scribor models.
Just sadly beyond my budget atm
@Manpug makes a good point about weapons. I play very little WHFB these days but would have to go AoW if I wanted more units. On the other hand the different weapons options would be handy for RPGs and warbands that I tend to use more.
Will probably stick with Red Box tbh and can just pick up models as and when I need.
ps AoW, Scribor Red Box to name three…
Ben, these are surely good times for the little chaps!
