Total War: Warhammer – We Are Defeated!
June 7, 2017 by crew
We join Sam aka MrStainless001 for another adventure through the video series of Total War: Warhammer. Adelhard leads the invasion of the Wood Elves territory with the full might of Bretonnia behind him.
Can they seal an initial victory against Durthu or will the speed and cunning of the Wood Elves prove too much even for these heroes...
What do you think of the fate of our champions?
So help me if it’s the last thing I do in this series I will wipe out those filthy Wood Elves…for Adelhard….for Bretonnia!
Yes…thats what happend to me too, the first time I was facing those long eared bastards …. You where given a warning 😛
But im sure you will be back with a vengeance. Dont be depressed, build up and burn that bloody forrest down !!! You can do this !
That’s the spirit BURN AWAY . Every elf you burn today, lights the path to a brighter tomorrow. Honest .. 😉
Bloody Elves….. You can’t live with ’em, you can’t live with ’em ……. Wipe away good sir
Oh dear. You got totally pwnd. I’m sure it is a long road back from here but I’ve really enjoyed the series so far so I hope you stick at it. I’m sure you will get enough forces together to give them what-for further down the line. Time for a bit of consolidation probably.
Yes the Wood Elves are very brutal to fight against.
Some tips:
Income will be high because you don’t have much upkeep. So you can build and rebuild.
See if you can make a confederacy with Bordeleaux, they have a special character (Lord Alberic) that can give benefits to foot squires which are decent infantry.
If you attack Wood Elves again, I suggest some flying cavalry to attack archer units and the holy field trebuchet.
That worked for me.
Terror from the tree people, tree huggers fight well in forest areas.
May the dice fall well, upon you and hope your land last, without any defender’s.
Ooo a bad one fortify and rebuild other enemies may take advantage of this.
On the plus side, you now have a large income with no army to upkeep!
Tactically, I would have kept my main army where it was or perhaps deployed a little further back. I’d then have moved the reserves into position behind the Wood Elves before advancing, trying to ensure that everything hit at once. But hind sight is always perfect.
