Will the DeepWars Siren Draw you In?
June 15, 2012 by brennon
Another fantastic piece of art from Antimatter Games for the DeepWars game. Check out the Siren below in all her tentacled glory...
An illusionary creature perhaps where when you see her above the waves she looks like a beautiful woman but underneath the stormy water are those massive tentacles ready to drag you down into the deep. Depending on how the model works out she might even work as a dungeon monster in D&D?
Have you been drawn in by the Siren's song?

Wow look at that. Ursula must have hit the gym because she looks hot now. All Disney jokes aside, I think this can have good potential is sculpted right.
This. Also this:

Great artwork again – I especially like the use of colour with the very menacing purple and black tones.
My first thought was of the spanish lovecraft movie Dagon.
Though the girl in that had a tentacle replacing each leg rather than full on octopus lower half.
Interesting that I have seen some very art work and WIP here on BoW but on their site nothing is updated. Not even the forums. But the mermaid looks very nice. Might fit in as a Slaanesh champion for my chaos army.
You’re probably talking about the ShadowSea website, which is focused only on that game and which has had few updates. The blog is where BOW gets all this info. http://shadowsea-game.blogspot.com/
That’s where the development progress for DeepWars is being published, along with the antimatter-games Facebook page, and the Kickstarter updates section. The forum is last in line to get any updates since nobody visits them. That will change eventually, when the game ships.
Ah, octopus-lady; the good kind of tentacle rape.
Yeah that’s cool, Lovecraftian girl lol. Hmm, I know someone that will LOVE this too, gonna show it to her, she’ll probably want to get into this game now haha
If the sculpt is anything as good as they normally are then would seriously think of getting one.
Along with the snailman green that was featured recently.
