Cool Mini or Not Bring Forth the Barbarian
June 7, 2012 by brennon
Cool Mini or Not sold out of their last Barbarian Female very quickly so they have come back with a new one ready for you to get your hands on! Check her out below...
Coming in at 32mm and wearing the trademark chainmail bikini of many warrior women she is a petty awesome looking miniature. Plenty of power, lots of dynamism and an awesome paint job to show her off from Dan Twiss of Worthy Painting.
A superb model that I bet sells out just as quick. They are very limited (34 left at the time of writing this) so you might want to hurry up.
Will you be joining her Barbarian tribe?

I would normaly say something about that chainmail bikini but that pose is so dynamic and awesome that I am not going to. She also has very well detailed sculpt.
In just seven days…
That’s a nice model with the pose. I can’t say much more that the others haven’t said yet. It’s just a very nice model.
Seven days is fast, wow!
Nah, I meant the seven days as a jab to the Pratchett fans…
Inne Juste 7 Dayes I wille make you a Barbearian Hero !
Lovely paint job – I especially like the glowing runes on the sword, they go well with the model’s battle cry as if she’s imbuing the sword with her own fury. Kudos to Dan from @worthypainting for that and also the lovely gem effect on her knee. It’s a great sculpt too, plenty of power in the way she holds her sword and the billowing cloak. The face and eyes seem wider than the usual gaunt look of a barbarian – is it a Klocke sculpt?
In love with this model, so much character and the dynamic pose really, really stands out!
Nice to see minis that remind me of 2nd ed. D&D art. As a kid that’s what really drew me in.
TBH the paint job I think is okay.
Will qualify that by noting that I am going by the high standards set by others such as Worthy and not my own! It is just not quite to my taste.
However, The painting of the hair and cloak look stunning
Anyway I won’t say anything negative to her face as she looks like she would whip my walnuts off before I could say, “Please don’t hit me in the shiny bits.”
