Construct Your Next Dungeon Delving Hero from Paper!

If you're looking for some miniatures for a quick adventure but don't want to go through the stages of painting and converting one to your tastes then how about going down the paper route with Beasts & Barbarians from Okumarts Games...
The set uses a layering system within the downloadable pdf allowing you to mix and match bodies, heads and arms to create the adventurer you want. While it's no substitute for a proper miniature the comic book quality you can see above is pretty good.
Check out some of the different things you can make with their other ranges...
There are plenty more sets for you to look over and download here too.
For something a little different would you go for this?
Have you tried paper heroes like this before?
Making and painting the figures is a big part of the hobby foe me so paper is not really my thing.
However if you needed a quick fix for a game or required exotic types this would be really handy.
These are pretty cool if you dont want to use minis. i must say that in many many years of playing rpg’s Ive never used any minis. i go for a more cinematic play- maybe these are a quick fix for me to try out minis…looks at his huge otherworld minis collection…sigh
The only RP we have ever used Minis in with my gaming group is D&D. All the other games we’ve played (WFRP, WoD, Gamma World and many more) have been Minds Eye.
I certainly think this is a viable way to get miniatures into a game at low cost but with a good finish.

This could help bring the role playing back into RPG.
