More Concept Art For The Expanding World Of Bushido
February 25, 2013 by brennon
GCT Studios seem like they never stop when it comes to the development of Bushido and new artwork is on the way. Check out two pieces that have appeared recently...
The Temple and the Cult of Yurei have both been teased with new releases and the art is looking good as always. My one complaint would be that the Buffalo's face looks utterly mental. Something about the eyes is totally weird looking to me, but maybe I'm over thinking that one!
As always I'm sure GCT Studios will do a superb job on the sculpts so watch this space as miniatures are not usually far behind the art.
What do you think?

Not keen on how the rider is sitting in relation to the buffalo’s pose.
Looks too stiff and upright. Hopefully the sculptor will come up with something better.
Can’t make up my mind about his age. Is the rider a boy or a youth? If the former then he is too big.
Still wish that Bushido would fade down the backgrounds. That would focus more on the figures and provide a better ambience imho
I think the buffalo looks a bit like http://www.thelaughingcow.co.uk Perhaps there is some genetic reasoning behind this? 😛
The pictures also look like a collage imo or stickers in a child’s book :S
Looking at the picture the boy was added afterwords as the foot is over the horn that should be reversed. But that said I like the face on the boy as it looks like he has no control over the beast. I hope the sculpt has the boy with a stark terror look as he has no idea where this Ox will take him.
really bad artwork.
