New Concept Art from Bushido

GCT Studios are the makers of some really exquisite fantasy Japanese miniatures. Take a look at some of the concept art for their upcoming additions to their Bushido range.

There are some fantastic concept art pieces coming out of GCT Studios recently. the minis are pretty damn nice as well. Lets hope that thier game Bushido makes good use of these quaility sculpts.
The gorilla and the little girl remind me of warmachine/hoards a little bit. I have no idea what I’d use it for but I want that ape.
The gorilla is cool. I saw these guys at the UK Game Expo and bought all 4 of their starter sets (ie everything they had for sale), so I guess that tells you what I thought of them. There are a few niggles in pose here and there, but the detail is uniformly nice on the figures and when they get it right it is wonderful. Personal favorites include the tortoise riding master and those splendid Oni, though even the humble Bakemono are little works of art. lol that Bobata concept looks like a daddy Critter from the Critter films! Loving the Nezumi rat-thing, way cooler than GW’s current incarnation. Ninjas are just cool period, so the Biku art is sweet. I like the fun side to the PuppetMaster. I love the Puppet Master films, so funny! 😉 This lot could be a cool fun concept, doubt it’s gonna fetch mainstream appeal, but that’s what i think I like about these sketches the most! 😉
