Cipher Studios take you to the Dark of Hell Dorado
May 28, 2012 by brennon
Some seriously grim and horrifying models are on their way from Cipher Studios for the world of Hell Dorado. Check out the Monstrosities below...
My favourite (or rather the one I am most grossed out by) is Eurynome. I still haven't quite worked out how exactly that thing works but its creepy and could be a very fun model to paint up.
All of these releases are pretty amazing but the darker the better with Hell Dorado I feel!
Which is your favourite?

Absolutely gorgeous…isn’t exactly the right way to describe some of these but they really are extremely impressive sculpts. The Damned One of Gluttony (the big version especially) and Eurynome are just so finely done but also so visceral and twisted – I think Eurynome has had its head and a big chunk of chest removed but is still walking! Really captures the imagination, they’ll be great foes for dungeon crawling. I like the barding and armour style on Georg Von Holbein and his horse too – perfect for a mounted vampire in a VC army.
The Eurynome was punished for his arrogance, or something (really it doesn’t take much to anger your superiors in hell) and he is now an interesting officer for the damned. I am very excited about the Damned Ones of Gluttony, they were the reason that I wanted to play Hell Dorado in its previous incarnation and I have been holding out for Cipher to re-issue them.
liked the models for ages, the game system is alright too. each time i see the models i wana play it
I think the top 2 might need to see an orthodontist for braces.
I am very happy to see gluttony make it’s return. Still waiting on Prince Tarik.
Oldies but goodies !
There is so many gorgerous looking models among those. Expesially I like sculpts of Squamata Warriors, Georg Von Holbein and Pillar of Faith Daggers. But those are all well detailed.
Some nice figs in Hell dorado, doesn’t seem to get as much love as maybe it deserves
