Check Out Antimatter’s Catch of the Day
January 14, 2013 by dracs
There's something suspicious swimming about in Antimatter's waters. Check out these two new fishy additions to the Scaly Horde of Deep Wars.
As you can see these are two formidable creatures you don't want to go swimming with. The Dire Fish Lizard is an excellent sculpt that conveys some seriously primordial viciousness, while the Dagathonan brute is clearly something of Cthulhu style menace.
Have any of you taken the plunge into Deep Wars?

Do like lots!
Can’t really tell from the image but the scales on the Dire Fishie look very splendid
If there is one company out there that deserves more attention, I believe it to be Antimatter. Their work is of phenomenal quality considering the size of the company and the premise of Deep Wars especially is actually something entirely unique in the overcrowded market.
Hey Beasties (of War), how about you dip your flippers into the waters of Deep Wars a bit and let us know what you think? 🙂 The game is still small and it’s hard to find reviews, but you could take a quick dive for us and tell us what you find.
Yeah, I couldn’t agree more. Antimatter have some serious talent sculpting their models, I love almost everything in their lineup, lots of style and great variety.
I’m highly impressed with the work on these guys, both of these models are superb! The detail on the dire fish is amazing, the lack of posing (because its a fish) is well made up in detail and I think it came out great. The brute has a nice dynamic pose that makes it really interesting. All-in-all these guys put out some great products.
Wow, thats great!
Great sculpts. That dire thingie reminds me of the old ‘Creature from the Black Lagoon’ that scared me half to death as a little tot. Old school but in a good way.
Yeah I woulg greatly appreciate some kind of game play related material and/or a review/preview. The setting is kinda unique and I love that Jules Verne kind of a feeling.
