Brother Vinni’s Slave is Literally Unveiled
February 10, 2012 by dracs
Brother Vinni have released a new mini in their victim girls range. The poor Ukrainian Slave Girl.
This is a very good sculpt which could be easily incorporated as part of a diorama.
Do you guys like this figure? What uses can you think of for it?
Poor lassie should be freed. I can see it being part of a mission. Save the nude lady or something. Over all it looks a little bottom heavy. It might be because of the arms are in an odd position than we are used to.
I think the ‘bottom heavy’ look is down to having actual child-bearing hips and less of the supermodel pin-up style. Nice to see a touch more realism in proportions – better than those horrible Dark Eldar prisoner models…
More good stuff from Brother Vinni.
Slaves have to have bubbies the size of Japan which are located right under neath the collar bone, it’s de rigour. 😛
I like the figure and I can think of many uses for it. But I will not share them.
Interestingly enough, the release of this Ukrainian prisoner with her Timoshenkian head option seems peculiarly timed …
They could have called it Ukrainian “Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko who tried to steer Ukraine away from Russian influence” Slave but that is just a mouthful.
I give it is a well sculpted model but I am not to to say anything else.
In roman times thats one sexy babe
Apart from a scenic element your need serious justification for buying loads of these….
Reminds me of Spartacus: Blood on the Sands and Gods of the Arena…oh and Vengeance lol. Yeah all of those Spartacus shows. Could certainly work this into some Ancient Battle side.
BoW Ben
Love the spartacus shows – feeds the inner 13 year old in me…
Any particular reason why she’s Ukrainian? I’d buy it as a gag gift for Ukrainian friends, but since most of them have had family that were held in Canadian Concentration camps…it may not be the most tasteful gag. 😛
Hang on….
Ukrainians? In Canadian Concentration Camps??
Must have missed something somewhere
Happened during the first world war. Messy business.

Yes, it’s a sad chapter of our history but it did happen, just like when Japan hit Pearl Harbor, Canada put Japanese canadians into camps.
Not trying to defend or justify, but were they concentration camps? The term does carry an emotive weight that may not be applicable.
Forced labour is bad enough however even if the camp conditions were relatively humane. 🙁
This is news to me and am grateful for being made aware. I was also confused as to why Ukrainians would be held captive in the first place not realising that they were part of the Austro-Hungarian empire at that time.
Yeah, certainly nothing on the level of WWII, but they were essentially “forced labour” camps used to develop business infrastructure for logging and mining in underpopulated regions of Canada. Gov. argued that they were improving the quality of life for these people, and kept them in these conditions for 2 years after the war was done. Needless to say, it wasn’t pleasant for the people involved. Person who sculpted this mini probably isn’t aware that this went on…and I don’t think that there is anything malicious about it… but the idea of a “Ukrainian Slave” can hit a little close… Read more »
must be a modern Ukranian since she’s “landscaped”. good figure, no comic book proportions.
Maybe it’s just me but I like my slave girls to hit the gym a little more often.
Watching less anime and dating more real life girls does wonders for shifts in perception!
😉
Looks promising.
Real shapped women, At last. Now only to have real shapped women with weapons
Well it’s heartening to see strong female role models in tabletop gaming.
