The Black Shadow of Dark Elves Falls Over Avatars of War

As you may have seen, the next army Avatars of War is working on for Warthrone is the Dark Elves, the first of which have just appeared. Fear the stealthy blade of the Black Shadows.
These two assassins make some particular imposing models that would make excellent character figures for your army. Assassination have long been one of the traits people associate with Dark Elves and these two minis really epitomize both the slow menace terrifying grace of such figures.

Quality stuff. Hopefully Felix can solve the supply issues this year and really get things going with AoW.

I wonder if Felix regrets running the indiegogo. On the one hand it will (hopefully) eventually get the basis of an army out for his game. On the other hand, they were woefully underprepared to deliver on it. They should have tried in-house resin casting first before running a campaign that would rely on it. Then they would have known it was a non-starter and ran the campaign to fund PVC plastic. It would have avoided the delay on getting to retail, minimised disruption to the cash flow (which these Dark Elves are meant to remedy) and hopefully got everything… Read more »
All of that said, and even with all the issues, I still regret missing out on this one.
… or maybe earning some other revenue while working on the project is a good way to make sure it gets delivered eventually. Good job maintaining a healthy perspective on life though. I mean, it’s not like you’re getting hyperbolically upset about toy soldiers or anything. That would just be silly…
Those are absolutly high quality sculpts. I like both of them.
Really like the fact they’re female assassins.
