Black Library Take You to the Depths of Middenheim
April 5, 2012 by dracs
Black Library have a new Path to Victory adventure book coming out set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy. Dare you venture Beneath the City of the White Wolf?
You are Absalom Kross, a devoted member of the Knights Panther, a sect of fanatical warriors who make up the honour guard of Boris Todbringer, Count of Middenheim. You are dedicated to the Count's protection and the defence of the City of the White Wolf. - Black Library
I love these kind of books, although I always seem to die somewhere around page 2. It would be interesting to see how Black Library's own books compare to the famous Fighting Fantasy series.
Will any of you be picking this up?
Seems like something like BL already did something like this; http://www.blacklibrary.com/warhammer-40000/hive-of-the-dead.html
Good God, the only thing more desirable than me dying after reading the above post again would be an edit option …
awesome, love adventure books … might have to give GW some of my moneys im afraid
Is there any chance someone could review this and/or The Hive of the Dead? Many of the Warhammer fans on the BL website gave Hive of the Dead a 4 and 5 stars simply for being a 40K-themed adventure book. I managed to read an objective review of Hive of the Dead on that really made it clear that the book has some serious flaws, ie, not worth $20. No one–anywhere–has reviewed Beneath the City of the White Wolf. I’d like to know if improvements were made.
