nice selection of choices some I’d put in there you didn’t but fit some casters better than others (like daughters of the flame) but wish I’d watched this before started took me forever to realise the potential of the choir in actuality and had moved to my legion by then (and i do adore my legion so no hard feelings kreoss i’ll be back soon 🙂 )
New to Warmachine. Chose Menoth because I liked the look of the models and I get to burn stuff.
I picked up the starter box and after my first game took someones advice and bought the choir.
Was starting to wonder what I should get next then watched this video.
Timing couldn’t have been better.
I just bought a Reckoner and will be looking out for the Errants and Bastions.
I loved the fact you didnt just read the abilities but talked about how they could be used effectively.
Now I want a Heirophant and one of the warcasters you mentioned (not sure which).

The only correct way to pronounce Menoth is May-not.
This captures the faction perfectly as you may not do any thing except burn heretics and bow down in whoreship(sp?)

We’re trying to explain the reasons behind our choices and the interactions than just each bit on its own.
I know I forgot Kreoss’s feat – blame my memory of that one. We also didnt cover the jacks in the battle box due to time and a new player should have an idea of what they do.

I have a few Trolls and played Kevin at Table Top day, I played Menoth and Kevin played Khador and have not looked back. I was looking at getting Sevvy or Reznik next, but after this video I will probably get both!
These videos also help us to get to know the enemy, i.e. don’t let the Butcher near anything you want to live!

Excellent stuff, fellas. It’s great to get some advice that goes deeper that “get the Choir, get the Vassal”. Lovely coverage of all the abilities and the layering of buffs.
… now to write the shopping list.
Great video guys. I have been collecting menoth for a while. I actually have nearly too much of it. A video like this really gives focus on all the tricks you can do with this faction.
My biggest problem is that I forget to add for eye of menoth or the choir. Or sometimes I forget to activate the choir before my jacks. Stupid mistakes. It takes some time to master these guys.
