Play A Netrunner Campaign With Terminal Directive!
November 14, 2016 by brennon
Fantasy Flight Games has announced that they are working on a new Campaign for you to play in Android: Netrunner. Terminal Directive will tell a story for both the Corp and the Runner in a new and interesting way...
The idea is that two players will be able to dive into this expansion and play through a narrative campaign where you will be chasing leads as both the Runner and the Corp to find out the cause of a murder and what is revealed in the ensuing investigation.
The game has a Legacy style to it where you will have a number of different sealed packs to open as you go from game to game.
...and each player also gets their own dashboard where you will be recording your results as they happen. Your wins, losses and more will shape the way the story goes.
I think this is a superb idea and it will really change up the way people are playing Netrunner. The chance to add in skills and more as the game goes on will mean (hopefully) that you get a developed character that is different from others.
We're going to be keeping a close eye on this one!

How much replayability will it have if you have to sealed packs as you go?
Probably none but that’s the idea of a ‘Legacy’ style game. You tell a story and then you get to the end of it and see how it all turns out.
Which is sadly not my kind of game, a Netrunner Campaign sounds amazing but i’m not a fan of the stickers, hopefully you can just put them somewhere else.
It may work in a similar fashion to Pandemic Legacy. The one shot campaign stuff can only be used once but you are still left with the standard pandemic board game when you have used up all the legacy components. I think this is a great way to play games. Sure, it makes a lot of the components disposable but it still represents good value for money when you consider how much an xbox game of cinema ticket costs
Aye the left over cards will be use able in other games of Netrunner I would think
