There’s No Middle Ground With New Game Of Thrones LCG Pack

Fantasy Flight Games have now released the latest Chapter Pack for A Game Of Thrones: The Card Game. No Middle Ground brings some fantastic new cards to the tabletop for all of the factions...
There are some great cards in this pack, some of which you can see below in the card fan. One of the big cards for the Night's Watch in particular is The Watchers On The Walls. This card makes your defence all the easier to set up and more surprising for the enemy.
The Red Cloaks are also rather interesting for the Lannisters and play with how gold works for their faction. Basically this pack helps to solidify each of the aspects of the factions that makes them unique in the game.
As well as the cards above there are some really neat plots too.
Each of these plots are fantastic additions to the game. For The North is perfect for stopping those first turn Sneak Attacks whilst Blood of the Dragon means that on one turn the Targaryans are going to shut down challenges completely.
Wardens of the North helps push forward Stark cards to help fight in defence for all manner of different challenges and get around some of the attachments that might prevent them from doing so.
Will you be adding this to your collection?

Wardens of the North lets you put Ice on Catelyn and then add her to military challenge, wherein you also ignore all card effects thanks to her, including Bodyguard. It’s a nasty combo. I hit my third Store Championship yesterday but put the Targ to one side to test out a Lannister deck. I never wound up putting any gold on the Red Cloaks, they mainly wound up being soak for military claim and Wildfire Assault, plus they get sent back to hand by First Snow of Winter, so they never lasted long enough to make use of their ability.
Very nice.
Is this game good? I’ve been tempted to get into it to see what it’s like.
I think it’s an outstanding game.
