Let’s Play: Keyforge
November 13, 2018 by crew
Learn how to play the newest unique card game from Richard Garfield, designer of Magic the Gathering, and then watch our blind playthrough with two new decks!
Keyforge is part of a new series of games from Fantasy Flight Games where each deck will be procedurally generated allowing for 104 quadrillion unique decks!
With no deck building the hope is that the playing field will be leveled for newcomers to play with as much chance as other players.
With no mana, hand size, or life points to keep track of play has been streamlined down to a race to be the first player to forge three keys.
Will you be picking this up when it releases Thursday 15th?

No…. especially since they NERF’ed the real funny names!
How so? It’s not like they can unprint Wang the Suddenly Bruised!
True but FFG/Asmodee forces you to register your deck in order to participate in tournaments. And if your deck is on the “naughty” list it won’t register and they offer you a 2:1 exchange. So the funny decks will remain collectors items.
Just ordered 3 decks for me and my boys, did have a box of 12 in the basket at one point but let’s see how this goes first with the 3.
nice video.
I have the Starter and a couple extra decks on hold at my FLGS. Cannot wait to play. The names on the cards should not stop you from playing a really fun game. I understand though and if I get one, I will likely not return it.
