FFG’s KeyForge Gets November 15th Release Date
October 13, 2018 by brennon
Fantasy Flight Games has announced the date that launch parties will kick off for their new and frankly insane card game, KeyForge. November 15th will be the date when you'll be able to get your hands on it at your local stores.
For those who haven't been keeping up with KeyForge, it's a game which seeks to banish the meta by having entirely unique decks in each pack you buy. In that way you'll always have a deck which is entirely your own and with no deck building to speak of you will need to learn how to use your deck and its nuances if you want to win.
It will also have a very low buy-in meaning that picking up another deck shouldn't be too much of an expense if you find that it's not working for you. It makes the idea of quick tournament days well worth exploring for new people getting into card games who don't want to be put off by the crazy combination plays that always develop within games like this.
The launch parties will include ways for you to get your hands on exclusive gear so make sure to watch out for one at your local store.

Sounds good if you can’t get beaten by a cherry pickers hand.
Super excited about this game… Definitely becoming a more casual gamer and looking at something like this that rewards learning your unique deck without having to build a deck or spend time and money hunting for specific cards sounds great. There is a LGS near-enough to me that came back from GenCon with a few decks and has been running demo games regularly to help people learn the game prior to it going live in November. Can’t wait!
