We’re chatting with Backspindle Games about two of their products which are now ready to snap up here at UK Games Expo, Ninja Squad and Mournequest.

Both of these games are looking like a lot of fun. It’s neat to see them responding to community feedback and adding in that cooperative mode for Ninja Squad for example.

Warren was able to stop in for a chat with Martin Wallace about his new game which has been in the works for five years now. This is Runestones. We’re immediately interested!

Delve into a description of how the game works and the thinking behind it. It’s a Fantasy wargame for between two to six players which takes some Viking elements and throws plenty of awesome fantasy races into the mix too.

Just enjoyed my first demo of the expo playing CGE’s Sanctum. Wonderfully intuitive fantasy adventure with a wealth of choices around your hero’s progression and an unexpected push your luck element. Fast paced, quick moving and really accessible

Drama at the airport meant that the Runelords board game didn’t make it to UKGE for the start of the preview. There must have been a concern whether there would be anything to show of the game based of the David Farland novels for any of the show at all.

Fortunately, the board game is now in the building at UKGE, along with the impressive Tabletop Simulator version of it that’ll be shown to the public alongside the Kickstarter planned for later this year.

Ben is Talking to Rob From White Wizard Games with their new  Game ‘Sorceror’ a game first introduced here at Games Expo which is a cross between Card Game and Strategy War Game of Sourcerors fighting for Domination of Victorian England.

We’re getting another peek at the upcoming miniatures for Conquest by Para Bellum Wargames; every time we see these they seem to get better and better.

The Menace Among Us, with it’s 18 unique roles and options for bluffing seems like it has just enough spark to stand out in the crowded semi-coop traitor game space. We’re excited to try it out

We managed to check in with Modiphius to talk about Kung Fu Panda and also the epic news concerning The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms.

UK Games Expo is an awesome place to learn new games. Fantasy Flight Games, for example, are delving into Journeys In Middle-earth with some new players and showing them what the game is all about.

With the amount of time that you have here at the convention to get stuck into a big adventure game like this, it’s awesome to see people already delving in.

We saw a huge dragon head over at The Ultimate Games Master, and in a small side booth, we found a huge dragon skull. But breaking news, the Wotan Games bus this year has been replaced! And they’re selling a card game solution for Brexit…

We’re an RPG chat & advise show, and hosts of the yearly ConPlus online charity convention which this year is trying to raise £5000 for The Butterfly Project; a small charity operating in Uganda to bring board games and roleplaying games to some of the most underprivileged children in the world.

We got to chat with the lovely people behind 7TV, Crooked Dice, and the new Pulp setting for the game which was done in conjunction with a team from Edge Hill University!

7Tv is one of those games that lets you be incredibly inventive and explore all different styles of scenario on the tabletop. It’s well worth checking them out for more details on the game!

EN Publishing launched their Judge Dredd & The Worlds of 2000 AD supplement Luna-1 at UKGE. They had sold half their copies in the first hour of trade and so look likely to sell out completely.

Luna-1 is a supplement in the Judge Dredd side of the 2000 AD license. Strontium Dog and Rogue Trooper RPGs have been announced and are in production.

Working with Rebellion, the British company that owns the 2000 AD franchise, is said to be going well for EN Publishing.

Ryan gets a chance to talk about Blood On The Clocktower, a fantastic game for between five and twenty (yes, twenty) players which is focused around the idea of deduction, reasoning, bargaining and a little bit of murder too.

Unlike other games of its type this game has a lot of in-depth rules and twists in interesting ways, even when your dead. You can find out about the game and how it plays with Ryan in the video below.

We mentioned before how a lot of the focus of UK Games Expo surrounds delving in to try new games but there’s also a mix between that and getting into games you really, really know.

I mean, check out the awesomely big game of Ticket To Ride! A few folks, for example, are diving into their tournaments this weekend and playing through masses of different card games.

We were able to get the full lowdown on just how the new card game from CMON works, God Of War. As someone who loves the video game we’ve been very excited to learn how this one plays.

It sounds like they have got a good set of mechanics for cooperative play set up and there are even some great solitaire rules included too for those who want the real experience of playing Kratos on his journey.

Warren got a chance to sit down and play with some of the new Contrast Paints that are going to be hitting the market soon from Games Workshop.

As Warren has a play around with the paints he talks about their pros and cons and exactly how he might use them as he gets stuck into lots more painting projects.

We got talking to the awesome Jaro from Phalanx Games about their awesome line-up of games. Some of these are going to Kickstarter soon like Divided Europe and Road To Moscow but others are ready to hit tabletops now.
