Infinity Boot Camp Live Blog: Saturday

Everyone has their factions built and are now ready for their first few learning games of Infinity so make sure to tune in for more throughout the day...

All the models have been assembled and now it's time to get them onto the tabletop. They really are some stunning miniatures aren't they!

The basics are now being taught by both Killian and Carlos. Using some Ariadna and PanO soldiers they get stuck into the stat lines and show off some demonstration actions...

The first games are underway so we're talking with Carlos about what they're learning. The basics and all about the important use of cover are being drilled into them!

The first couple of games are underway and with the quick nature of Infinity there has been a chance to try out a few different tactics over two or three games with their basic infantry.

While the folks are learning to play Infinity here you can also learn to do it where you are with a the Demo Game we shot during Operation Icestorm Week.

We go through some of the tactics and tips that are involved with our awesome Ariadna Forest Board. What tactics would you employ?

One of our most interesting boards (we think) is the Haqqislam City Board and we're loving the set up with this Palace sitting among the slums of this sandy desert world...

The two sides clash in the Industrial Complex and there's much dodging and skipping between cover. There are some hesitant moves between the big names while one soldier watches from atop the gangways...

The deadly Japanese Sectorial are the next faction to go under the spotlight as we discuss some of their tactics with Gerry who has been loving how they work on the tabletop.

The big games are getting going and there have already been a few surprises. It always helps to get down to a models eye view too we think...

Folks are playing their big games now with a full Starter Box and loads of new special rules. With that in mind we get back to Killian to find out what's changed and what these soldiers can do.

Carlos and Killian have been going round helping folks with their games. They've also dropped in on some cool moments.

Some big close combats, deadly shots as people dart around cover and plenty of times where a trooper wishes they'd stayed in cover.

One pair of troopers even berserked into each other and ended up killing each other in a Samurai fueled rage. It was quite the sight.

We get into the nitty gritty surrounding the Combined Army, one of the rather cool looking factions in the game packed with alien life.

We get things set up for the TAG Arena Deathmatch. This is going to be madness...

Some early close combat, plenty of shooting and re-spawning and a whole bunch of sniping as people dive for cover.

Close Combat seems to be the safe bet although a fair few TAGs have done down to a plethora of AROs.

Justin might say different as he keeps getting smacked around!

Honestly these TAGs don't seem to care that they have guns. So many of them have just jumped into close combat!

After a Deathmatch it's probably a good idea to get some grub. So, we have Chicken Curry!!!
