Taking A Look At The Colours Of War
Justin sits down with John from Battlefront for a closer look at their Colours of War book.
Colours of War is the essential guide for painting your Flames of War miniatures. Not only do you get some useful painting tips, it also allows you to get the accurate uniforms and colour schemes for your historical armies.
Boot Campers Get Gaming
The Boot Campers have arrived and are all getting stuck into their day’s hobbying. Sundays are always the most relaxed day of the Boot Camp, and now everyone is ready to enjoy some games, or chill out with some painting and modelling.
Warren Brings The Pulp
Warren could not resist the call of the pulp any further and has brought the forces of the alien Vril to bolster his German army once again.
Join Our Live Q&A With Battlefront!
Big Four Of Late War - Wayne's Austrians
Over at Battlefront’s Big Four Of Late War, Wayne Turner is fielding the German forces. Or, rather, the Austrians.
For his inspiration, Wayne turned to the history of the 2.Panzerdivision. This division moved its home barracks to Vienna after the German annexation of Austria, and was mostly made up of Austrians from that point.
The force later saw combat in Normandy, engaging with the British 50th Infantry and 7th Armoured Divisions.
You can find out more about this force and how Wayne is looking to theme his army around them over at the Big Four Of Late War page.
Bob's Christens His Shermans
Bob has been getting his tanks painted up this weekend and even went the extra step to name his American Sherman tanks.

Any Flying Saucers Killed Yet?
We check in with Warren for a mid-game update on how his Flying Saucers are getting on.
Casey's Soviets Winter The Big Four Of Late War
Battlefront’s Casey Davies is fielding the Soviets for Big Four of Late War and takes us through his plans for a winter tank army.
Casey has made quite a few Soviet armies in the past, but has yet to finish a force of winter tanks. This time though, he’s driving on ahead and ready to create an army that looks as though it has already weathered the worst that war has to throw at it.
D-Day Armies On Parade
The boot Campers have made great progress getting their Flames of War armies painted up and onto the table this weekend.
Gerry stops off with Martin, Wayne, and Bob to take a closer look at what they’ve been working on.
Chatting With The Campers
Everyone is relaxed and enjoying their last games of the weekend today. The Boot Camps are always a great opportunity to learn a game and hang out with the other wonderful gamers who share a love of tiny fighting men.
Cracking Open The Soviet Starter Bundle
Justin and Chris lift the lid on the Soviet Starter Bundle from Battlefront Miniatures.
For the Soviets, the answer is always “tanks”. What was the question? Doesn’t matter, it’s still tanks.
Warren's Pulp Battle: End Game
We return to find out how Warren’s game went. Is their a future for UFOs in the field of war?
Unfortunately, things did not go so well for the weird world war brigade. But that won’t stop them returning to the battlefield!
Warren's UFOs Get Grounded
After making a spectacular entrance this morning, Warren’s UFOs sadly ended up grounded.
Still, I doubt this will be their last flight. The Nachtwulf will return!

Boot Campers Share Their Thoughts On The Weekend
Everyone’s been having a blast this weekend at the Flames of War D-Day Boot Camp.
John went around to find out how the Boot Campers has found this latest hobby weekend and what games they have been getting up to.
What's In The Box For The German Starter Force?
Justin sits down again with Chris from Battlefront to take a look at the German starter force for Flames of War.
This Panzer Kampfgruppe provides you with plenty of options on the battlefield, combining plenty of armour with fast, mobile infantry supported by artillery. The set also sees them accompanied by the infamous Tiger tanks!
The British Are Coming!
The Boot Camp’s built British force rolls out onto the field of Flames of War.
What's In The Cards For Flames Of War Units
Justin and Chris sit down one more time to take a look through the Flames of War Unit Card Packs.
These unit cards help you to keep track of every unit you have on the table, keeping an eye on stats, and building your army lists without having to constantly flick back and forth through the army books.

Final day guys, time for the big push 😀
I cant wait to see how Warren’s Luftwaffe UFOs fare in battle. I remember when I first saw him do it back in 2013, it was the best.
Will you have a review of the German starter?
happy Sunday. xlbs normally 1 and half hours, with Warren 2 and a half hours (unknown why). Today all day YES,
Can’t wait to see what you guys have going on today
the final day is finally here
I honestly cannot believe the Hit the Beach box is $50!!! Amazing!
So, the final day. Have you been recording (taking note) of game results, so we can see whether the allies got a foot hold in Normandy, or were pushed back into the sea?
Great weekend
Looks like an amazing game and a great boot camp!
So Jealous, and of course Warren brought the pulp!
Yeah, but no STUGs. If you’re fielding UFOs then you MUST field STUGs. It should be in an army list somewhere!
Amazing weekend so far! Go team OTT! Go team Battlefront!
Looking forward to the thrilling conclusion to the bootcamp.
Happy Sunday, on to Arnhem???
Always good to see historical Nazi flying saucers. 🙂
Great interview with Wayne and Phil – hoping you guys can show off some of the D-Day American book that was on the table yesterday!
?
Day 3 and still strong!
So have the Allies started the push inland, or is the Fatherland watching some soggy remnants being evacuated amongst the wrecks of burning landing craft?
If things go bad for the UFO’s, perhaps they will release the Vril paneers or project x.
You really pushed this event hard. Congrats guys.
@warzan and his UFOs. Man, that brings back memories. Keep it up, man! Awesome as always! 😀
Sorry you weren’t with us, we missed you Jim!
@intelligentmistertoad – myself and @brucelea and @damon were with you in spirit, putting troops British troops ashore at Gold Beach in a 9-hour game of Panzer Leader.

Looking forward to following the coverage today.
All these guys have done a great job. Good to see all the hard work.
Cheers for a great weekend of coverage one and all??
Let loose das panzer battalion
You put on such an amazing event. As much fun as I had at home keeping up with the Blog and painting my models, I can’t imagine how much fun it must have been for the guys there.
Learnt loads, great bootcamp to watch will make it over some day. Cheers all.
Just like in Normandy, everybody must get off the beach (well for you guys off the pub stool) and finish strong at the boot camp. I have enjoyed watching everyone have a great time and watching them learn, for some, a completely new game system. Another quality camp and some great videos.
Congrats on an awesome weekend everyone!
Great event 🙂 I really enjoyed your video’s:)
Luftwaffe UFO’s FTW or … eh … WTF
Not sure where else to ask about this but, if you wanted to do a Canadian force would you just use the British organization charts and use different marking on the models?
As far as I am aware . Yes you do
@khy0te – there ARE differences between the Canadians and the British, depending on the exact era and general “command level.” Especially when it comes to vehicles. The biggest difference is the “Kangaroo” APC. Used by the Canadians, not really the British.
There are also slight differences in how Canadian companies, battalions, and regiments are plugged into larger structures like brigades and divisions.
I don’t know how serious or detailed you want to get. Ping me a PM if you need some additional details.
@khy0te
There you go. Always wait for the proper experts to come along
I hope those UFOs have enough flammenwerfers… There’s never ‘too much flammenwerfers’ Hans. Never.
Thanks a lot guys for this awesome weekend!
I’ve really enjoyed the weekend watching the videos. Charge guys, good luck
Luftwaffe UFO’s are definitely a good join for taking out pesky shermans
Really love the terrain and I really want to get into FoW. Good job guys!
Looks like a great event yet again. Wish I had been able to attend. Great job by everyone, very entertaining.
I would love to win something.
UFO’s and Nazis…perfect pulp game material.
Play, play and play some more!
Cool event, thanks guys.
I’m ordering some of those Unit Card Packs!
I really look forward to these Boot camp broadcasts. They such help me to introduce games to new players at conventions.
Late but still looking forward to watching all the videos.
This looks like an awesome game !! … and NZ is just over the pond .. I need to find some Aussie suppliers and games groups toot sweet !!
It looks like they were having great fun.
Great starterset. I didn’t see anybody swapping their Germans for Americans or vise versa.
Hope next boot camp will be A Song Of Ice And Fire.
It would be great with all the different starter set s they are coming out with.
Looking forward to get some of these minis 🙂
Fortress Europe book and my German cards just arrived from Battlefront. Time to plan some lists and work out which of my many unbuilt/unpainted models I can spare for my Mid/Late Eastern Front and which I need to supplement my existing LW Western front lists.
More models always welcome though 😉
Your boot camp ideas are terrific.
Cheers lads as been a wonderful boot camp have enjoyed following it over the three days….?
Are there any planes on doing something similar in the future for Team Yankee V2?
Amazing weekend, thank you for all the work going into putting it on.
Need more UFOs 🙂
Great series guys! 2 questions…
1. Do you sell the Beasts of War dice bowls? They are awesome and would love to add one to my arsenal.
2. Can you share a link or the name of the wallpaper used to make the roads. We don’t have B&Q in the US, so trying to find something comparable.
Game on! Cheers!
Great coverage, so much info. Can’t wait to get my hands on one of these boxes 🙂
Excellent stuff. More please!
Great weekend guys!
Looking forward to the content, I do love these boot camps.
