You'll be able to tune in all weekend as our Dames Of Games get stuck into playing lots of games, talking to developers/designers and much more.
As well as all of the games there are going to be some exciting individuals there like Eric Lang, Michael Shinnal, Jen Haley, Brittanie Boe, the team from Dice Tower and many more besides. Plus of course, we're pretty special too!
Come and say hello to the ladies and let them know what you'd like to see them cover too...

Zombicicide Black Plague City Looks EPIC!

We give you a quick glimpse of the Expo floor and all of the games already in progress. Also, you might see a game designer or some other famous face.
Dragon Castle Brings Out Your Competitive Zen
I think I may have found a new favorite game! Dragon Castle kind of turns Mahjong on its head by making it competitive. Play revolves around a center board with absolutely beautiful tiles. Here's that great tactile aspect we often talk about. On your turn, you can take tiles to create your own board in front of you. Your goal is to complete shrines and claim the most points. There's tons of strategy and it's easy to learn and fun to play.

2 CommentsTest Your Dective Skills In 13 Clues
If you like a good mystery, then you absolutely need to check out 13 Clues. This is a deduction game where each player is trying to uncover which 3 cards are hidden from their view- in plain sight of everyone else! Game play revolves around paying close attention to what you see and how everyone else answers the questions. It's a race to see who can solve their mystery first. It was super fun, but requires a lot of thinking. You HAVE to pay attention!
Let's Take a Quick Look At Minis!
We take a very quick peek at some of the minis offered for Dark Age and Wrath of Kings.
Build The Most Contraptions In Gizmos
People, it has marbles! Gizmos is one of the latest games from CMON. If you like Potion Explosion, you will love this game- it's like Potion Explosion on steroids. In this one, players compete to build the most Gizmos to score the most victory points in the end. There's quite a bit of strategy as well as a screw your neighbor aspect in that you really need to pay attention to what your opponents are up to.

2 CommentsA Song of Ice and Fire Chat or Otherwise Known as The Eric and Michael Show
Sit back and listen to two of the best game creators talk about their game A Song of Ice and Fire. Be amazed at their creative and thought process. One thing I guarantee you is that you will laugh. Great to listen to while painting or working on some other project.
The Road To Crystal Brush Starts Here
CMON Expo is the perfect place to start your road to the Crystal Brush. Painters gather to work on their craft and get feedback from Jen. Needless to say, their are some beautiful pieces! The dragon blows my mind!

2 CommentsStunning Studio Painted Minis For A Song of Ice & Fire
It's no surprise that A Song of Ice & Fire is super popular here at the show. CMON has production copies on the table for folks to game with and try out, but what I was really excited to see is the additional studio painted minis they had.
We Got to Host The Godfather: Corleone's Empire
We were invited to host a game of The Godfather: Corleone's Empire and have gamers sign up to play a full game with the Special Guests. It was a great game and many a man went swimming with the fishes.
"It's Time for the Big Reveal!"
4 CommentsSupport Your King In Richard The Lionheart
I've been looking forward to playing this again since Gen Con. In Richard the Lionheart, players will work together (kind of) in support of the throne or not. Each turn, you bid your pledge to the cause to advance the trackers. When I mentioned "kind of" before, that's because each player has a secret victory condition that may or may not help the team achieve its goal- but in the end, only one will win.
Speeding Painting Challenge. Can I Uphold the Honour Of BoW?
Rising Sun Is Getting Some Love
It's always nice to see when people are loving their games, and it's obvious when you see folks painting up the minis. Rising Sun has absolutely stunning minis, and they look even better with some paint.
The Big Reveal is...Death May Die
Eric Lang talks with us about his next big game, Death May Die. It is all about the insanity of Cthulhu.
Everybody's Gaming
It's a full house today and there's no just walking up to a demo table. You choose your game and stake out a spot to make sure you get a place at the table for the next round. It definitely seems the clear favorites this year are A Song of Ice & Fire and Gizmos.

One of the many cool creative outlets here is CMON's kitbashing contest. In the Curse of Frankenfest, you can sit down with the hodgepodge of CMON spare bits and your imagination to see what kind of monster you can dream up. The case is filling up with awesome entries.

4 CommentsLearning Some Rising Sun
I got the opportunity to learn Rising Sun today- what a cool game! It's a lot of info to cram into a demo, but they did a great job and left me wanting to play more. Coincidentally, I won!

The beautiful studio paints just need to be looked at. So here's more from A Song of Ice & Fire.
Something For Everyone To Do
Want to play board games? Done. Miniatures games? Gotcha covered. Need some hobby time to build and paint? You can do that too! Open gaming time each night with CMON's game library is fantastic too.
"Almost time for a little Kick-Ass!"

Goodbye From CMoN Expo 2018
Well friends it is that time as we close out another amazing weekend here at CMoN Expo 2018. This has been an amazing weekend of gaming goodness. We cannot thank our hosts enough for such a wonderful event and making us feel special. We hope to see you all next year!
Don't forget to comment to win an amazing sway bag filled with CMoN goodies!
Let’s see that Dark Age booth!
Please find out if they have any plans for Wrath of Kings! It’s just about the only miniatures game (outside of board games) that I play anymore. It’s terrific but needs more promotion and support!!
How is Hate coming along? I didnt back it. Am I out of luck forever or will they release later on?
I think you can slacker-back it on geekfunder until May 18 so you have a few days?
Ask them about Wrath of Kings,
and whether we can expect to see that and Dark Age in stores over here in the UK as there still doesn’t seem to be a reliable distributor in place
Leodis games does regular orders and have never let me down, whilst there isn’t enough of the supplier keeping European stock up to date with new releases. I can see why as the interest isn’t there because CMON don’t attend any of the big European conventions. Hopefully it will change or someone could take up the mantle and show off the 2 games over here for them.

Hopefully someone might ask if Xenoshift will be getting a model range and game. The art for it is just great and I would love to buy them. Thank you for all the work you all do to let us know what is going on in game.
So what is the big reveal? Did I miss it?
Ah I see it now
Could you find out some information about Victorian Masterminds.
I’m way excited for this release.
Cthulhu is a no for me, shame I was hoping they might continue the blood rage, rising sun theme and maybe go all Western European – King Arthur etc. Or even native American or Egyptian. Suppose it keeps my money safe 🙂 Good work on the blogging as always though! Keep it up
Death May Die sounds awesome!
I’m certainly keen to see some more close ups for Death may Die
Will have to keep a close eye on Death May Die. Can always do with more Lovecraftian Miniatures.
I hope they have some interesting stuff set up for the new Lovecraft title. I love Mythos Games, but the market is already a bit saturated with tentacle monsters.
Will there be a Bryan Steele interview?
What’s the longest period of time between Cthulhu Mythos based games being released?
Hoping for all the shiny for Dark Age
It’s nice to see that CMON puts out some variety in their games…and doesn’t just exclusively kickstart massive miniature games…although those are cool too.
This is a great con. I got to go a couple of years back and recommend it to everyone. Looking forward to checking out the coverage.
Great coverage of the con and interesting seeing new shinies for a variety of games. Like the minis from Death may Die will have to keep an eye on that one.
Thank you Beasts for the neat look into this event!
Great coverage as usual. Lots of interesting things. Good job.
Thanks for the coverage, BoW! Really looking forward to Arcadia Quest: Riders.
What ever happened to Rivet Wars! 🙁
Awesome coverage!!
Thanks D&G… some interesting insights into what’s going on in CMoN.
Great coverage ladies. Try and get them to do a UK one please.
