Yes, I said Facetube....
The Crystal Brush Cases Are Full
In some magical manner, the cases were absolutely full of beautiful work this am, and there's still more on the way.
Specialist Games at play
If you can't get into the bigger game tournaments, then these smaller games of Space Hulk, Starship Troopers, The Lord of the Rings/Hobbit may entice you with your spare time
Paul Sawyer And Warlord Games
Gianna gets to talk to the one and only Paul Sawyer about all things Warlord Games.
The Vikings Are Just Getting Started
The Grand Melee tournament is just getting started and it looks like players have brought their A game. Lots of viking and cosplay are ready for bloodshed.
"Is it too early for rum? Not if you're a pirate!"
5 CommentsInfinity is Heating Up
The lasers are flying in the small cities with the Infinity battles starting up for today and these tables are about to go from beautiful to war ridden rubble
And Now For A Little Music Interlude...Radio Beasts of War Presents The Vendor Hall Serenade
You have been asking for a tour of the vendor hall so we thought we slow down (sort of) and show you the vendor hall.
What's New Cigar Box Battle Mats?
Dawn talks with Stephen from Cigar Box Battle Mats about what he brought to the show.
Mech Attack is Everything An Old School Gamer Could Want
Mech Attack is an old style PDF game that uses all kinds of big scale minis from a multitude of games including Dust 1947, old battle mechs, and Bolt Action. We stumbled across this great game while roaming these halls and it caught our eye with all of the carnage happening at this table.
Arrrrrrrrh! There Be Lovely Painted Minis in the CMON Cases
I swear I could look at the CMON cases forever! They always have the nicest studio painted minis in there....which reminds me, I really need to paint up my Rum & Bones minis.
Here is the Deadzone that everyone has been raving for
While the first part of the Deadzone tournament is over, we managed to capture some of the aftermath. Later on we will go back to it and capture the Tournament in action.
Games And Gears Makes An Appearance At Adepticon
Dawn catches up with the guys at Games and Gears to talk about what's new with them.
The Talent Continues To Shine In The Crystal Brush Case
Holy hydra! Look at the size of this thing! I don't even know if it will fit in the cases. I had to sneak this shot while they were taking pictures of it for the entry.
Frostgrave Getting Some Love In The Gaming Hall
Looks like Frostgrave is getting some love in the gaming hall as adventurers try to gain the advantage in the frozen fantasy world.
Star Wars Rebellion is looking pretty sweet
On my way to the X-Wing Open I saw something that caught my eye, it was the Star Wars Rebellion game. This is a great looking game that is based on beating the empire by taking back the empire-oppressed planets in spacial and ground combat in an epic war for the freedom of the galaxy
The Final Round Has Begun
the X-Wing open is nearly over, the final round has begun. It is drawing quite the crowd of people eager to see the victor of this 2 day war.
Got Guildball? Yes, we do!
There's a Guildball tournament in full swing and players have their game faces on. It's just a game though, isn't it?
HALO ground command is looking great
I saw the HALO logo and had to go and look. Ground Command looks to be a HALO skirmish game and has some fantastic looking minis that brought me to the table.
Dropfleet Commander is drawing a crowd of spaceship combat fans
Dropfleet Commander is still bringing new players over to it, and judging by these fantastic miniatures, there are more to come.
Are you not entertained!?
Arena Rex is roaring with entertainment as the fighters engage in gladiatorial combat.
Massive AVP Battle
Ninja Division is running a ridiculously huge game of AVP- and I want to play! There's just something epic about taking games and sizing them up to Adepticon scale. I bought the AVP 2nd edition yesterday and a few expansions, and I can't wait to crack it open and get playing.
Incredible Weathering and Detailing Products From Ammo Mig Jimenez
Gianna talks with Iain about the awesome offerings from Ammo Mig Jimenez to take your miniatures to the next level.
Talking Airbrushes With Ken From Badger Airbrushes
Gianna talks with Ken from Badger Airbrushes about all things airbrushing.
Check Out The Cool Minis For Wyrd's The Other Side
It's always exciting to see minis for games that aren't out yet, but even more so when they're painted up! Look at what's in the Wyrd cases at the show. They've done an incredible job showing they can deliver the same level of detail that we've come to know and love from Malifaux in these preassembled minisfor The Other Side.
Talking with Prodos
Dawn talks with Michael about Prodos first visit to Adepticon and what he brought.
More Crystal Brush Awesomeness
Thank goodness I took most of these images in the am before the doors were open, because there'es almost no getting up to the cases now. It's not hard to figure out why after you see some of these beauties.
We Talk Frostgrave
We catch up with Joseph McCullough and Osprey Publishing to talk about Frostgrave and other cool titles.
Going to War With Battlefront
Dawn and John march up to the Battlefront (see what I did there?) and talk about WWII, Cold War gone hot and all the other awesome goodies that Battlefront has brought to the show.
"I just wanna play Destiny- but I guess I'll keep live blogging"
2 CommentsChoose Your Destiny- Star Wars Destiny Tournament Begins
It was the Force. It literally drew me over to the Star Wars Destiny Tournament. This is a funny thing. It's intended to offer a tournament experience for anyone to walk up and play, as the decks are provided and random, but there wasn't a newbie to be found. These are all seasoned players, ready to play.
What's Going On Hawk Wargames?
Dawn talks with Tiegan about all things Dropzone Commander and Dropfleet Commander.
Mega 40K Display Board
This display really caught my eye. The different levels from air effects to subterranean chambers really brings out a story to be told with the Nids and Imperial Forces
30K battles from the front
More action unfolds with brother against brother
40K Armies in Battle
Too many Armies, too little time to view and talk to each in person
"Getting Ready For Some Cosplay Awards"

Woot Day 3!
Good job thus far.
Finally catching up on the coverage. My ISP decided after years of complaining that yes the actual line was rusted through. New line and better speeds and catching up on some awesome stuff going on this weekend. Wonderful coverage!
Hi guys, so are you having fun? Wish I could be there with you guys.
So much awesome, so little time.
Day 3 and still going strong! I’d already be down for the count!
It’s great fun, but I’ll admit to needing more and more ibuprofen as each day passes. Lol
Where are the AT-ATs and damn shoulda pinned FFG down about what expansions for Imperial Assault and will there be a Star Wars Mass wargame coming:)
Any more details from GW, or was Thursday it?
We have a chat with Andy Smiley Sunday am 🙂
Just wish that we had shows like this down under! 🙁
Really appreciate the live Blogging – excellent work everyone –
you cover the ever increasing diversity of Tabletop Gaming.
My wish list of games etc. to cover- if they are represented at this year’s Adepticon:
Project Z
The Walking Dead – All Out War
The Walking Dead – No Sanctuary
This War of Mine
Terrain projects are always interesting to see previews of, eg.
Awaken Realms
TT Combat
Multiverse Gaming
Sarissa Precislon
Anyway, thanks so much and best wishes from Berlin
Will zurück.
It really does look amazing. Definitely on my bucket list.
Looks like Salute in the end is there any difference ?
The biggest difference is that there is 24/7 gaming going on all 4 days. Retail is just a piece of the show
I miss living in Chicago… home to the midwest next year!
Must be fun!
Great job as always ladies! Really loving the one on one interviews as well. Keep up the good work!
