AdeptiCon 2016 Live Blog – Part Two

Welcome to Day 2, hold on to your seats the action is going to get ramped up today!

The Arena Rex booth has been CRAZY busy, so we had to sneak in before the vendor area was open to get a closer look. Redben had a chance to play a demo yesterday and couldn't say enough good things about it.

Hoth Is generating more and more interest and folks have been snapping pictures as we get ready to run the game on Day 2. Gamers have been really excited at the arcadey, hop in hop out style game play.

Here are some fine examples if miniatures you can find throughout the vendor hall.

Things are about to get MASSIVE in an Apocalypse Game. Not only do the tables look great, but it's all about who's bringing the biggest and baddest to the table, and how long you can survive the chaos.

Dawn is off wandering in fantasy land, so Gianna steps in and talks modern wargaming with Chris from The Phalanx Consortium about Skirmish Sangin and Skirmish Outbreak.

With the planetary destination of Hoth, Fantasy Flight is in full swing with X-Wing tournament play. There's great representation from Rebels, Empire and Smugglers alike. Players are working hard for wins, knowing the ultimate prize will be a trip to the Star Wars convention in London and a place in the finals there.

The Vikings are trying to conquer all in the Saga Grand Melee. The coordinators have really set the scene with shields and banners for proper Viking representation.

Dawn sits down with Mark Gibbons and they talk about his new card game Dark Deeds.

Each year the coordinators of the 40K events put together a jaw dropping display, and this year looks fantastic!

Dawn talks with Jace from Cracked Earth Studio and we get an update on things are going since we last saw them at last years Adepticon.

Dawn finds Steve and has a chat about Modcube and what's new for the Beasts of War 2015 Best Game Accessory finalist.,

Team Yankee is getting some love at Adepticon. Tanks, air support, are finding their ways onto the tables.

Dawn sits down with Matt and Rich the creators of Guildball and get an update.

I found Teras from Geek Nation Tours having a game of Wild West Exodus. Miniatures were getting picked off left and right and guns were a-blazing.

The cases continue to fill up with beautiful works from some of the most talented painters in the industry.

Corvus Belli has been a very popular stop for shoppers and Human Sphere N3 has literally been flying off the shelves. We'll try to grab a chat with Carlos at some point, but the poor guy has already lost most of his voice.

Dawn and Scott talk everything pirate for the huge participation game, A Fistful of Seamen.

Star Wars Rebellion literally hit retail yesterday and they're running demos here at Adepticon. Redben had a good game and said he really enjoyed the game. He fell victim to the lure of the darkside and then got to send a Death Star to blow up a planet. There's nothing that doesn't sound epic about that!

We had a great chat with Forrest from Knuckleduster about how Desperado is gaining popularity on the tables once more. His line of colorful characters from the West are perfect to play in the game and really set the seen.

If you love dragons (and if you don't, we can't be friends any more), then you will absolutely love the Dragons from Reaper. Big, small, and everything in between, they offer a fantastic variety of creatures for your games.

Dawn and Forest talk about digital sculpting and Desperado.

The cases are nearing capacity, and it's getting more difficult to get through the crowd to the cases. What an amazing collection of beautiful pieces!
